IOSH introduced a new competency framework in 2019 and all categories of member have a responsibility to maintain their CPD. Attending local IOSH meetings is one way to demonstrate CPD and we can all learn something at these sessions. The last meeting of IOSH_Staffordshire branch had a great presentation about respirable crystalline silica and introduced some new training techniques; the straw walk and the 1p visualisation of dust.
