Since World Oceans Day many reputable journalists have reported on the rising tide of plastic waste associated with disposable gloves and masks being discarded during the COVID-19 pandemic. With the increase in disposable mask sales expected to rise to 1.47 Billion Euros in 2020 the issue of plastic litter is more than serious.
